UFC 218: Holloway vs. Aldo 2

UFC 218: Holloway vs Aldo 2,coming this week has a great match card lined up for its UFC Fans. It’s going to be Holloway vs. Aldo 2

The match card at UFC 218 is as follows and will be held on December 2, 2017 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan USA.

FeatherweightMax Holloway (c)vs.José Aldo
HeavyweightAlistair Overeemvs.Francis Ngannou
FlyweightHenry Cejudovs.Sergio Pettis
LightweightEddie Alvarezvs.Justin Gaethje
Women’s StrawweightTecia Torresvs.Michelle Waterson

In this article, I will share my opinion and views on the main fight featuring the current UFC Featherweight champion Max Holloway vs  José Aldo 2 at UFC  218

Max Holloway heads into the UFC main event having previously beaten Jose Aldo. He would be defending the title again against the highly technical and talented Jose Aldo. Max Holloway has a record of 18 wins-3 losses, while Aldo has a record of 26 wins -3 losses.
In the previous match between Max Holloway vs  José Aldo
Aldo in the opening round waited in the middle of the Octagon for Holloway to engage. Even though  Aldo had almost got Holloway shaken in the first round with a serious of punches in round 1 with the cheering fans from his fellow country Brazil, he couldn’t  take Holloway down and he was able to recover and protect himself from Aldo.
While the first round was Aldo’s, Holloway came out with a lot more determination in the second round and took the match to Aldo and won the round.
In the third round, Holloway looked composed as the momentum in the fight started to shift. He went on the attack, with Aldo backing away feeling tired in the third round. Holloway  started putting in the combinations and took the fight to a whole new level, showing the fans what he was capable of in the octagon. Finally, Holloway unleashed a nasty four-punch combination in rapid-fire fashion and ending the match with the referee stopping the match.

Coming this Dec 2, 2017. UFC 218: Holloway vs. Aldo 2- The rematch between them is what all the UFC fans will be looking for and the match card doesn’t seem to disappoint the fans.
While Aldo has said that he would defeat Holloway and become the champ and therefore set a trilogy to the fight. It could be possible if Jose Aldo could bring back his leg kicks and his relentless pressure on his opponents with constant movement and punches which the veteran his known off.
Max, on the other hand, looks confident going into the fight, the fans also admire the guts and the passion that he is known for, as the match was initially between Jose Aldo Vs Frankie Edgar, but as Edgar was injured and Max Holloway never thought twice to step in. Holloway has a lot of weapons in his armor including kicks, combinations, lethal punches and also a good ground game. Although it’s going to be a close fight, its sure would keep the audience on the edge of the seat. I personally believe that Holloway has an edge in this match.
